Manufacturing Hubs Grant Program

Grants through the $28.5 million Manufacturing Hub Grant Program (MHGP) are available to assist eligible businesses in the Cairns, Central Queensland, Gold Coast, Mackay and Townsville SA4 regions.

These grants are an opportunity for manufacturers to become more productive, build advanced manufacturing capabilities and create the jobs of the future through:

• technology adoption
• skills and training
• business development
• advanced robotic manufacturing hub services.

Round 3 funding

Grants between $10,000 and $500,000 are available for eligible manufacturing small to medium enterprises in the Cairns, Townsville, Central Queensland, Mackay and the Gold Coast SA4 regions.

Please read the guidelines and draft funding agreement before you contact the Manufacturing Hub to commence your application.

Round 3 of the MHGP will be open to eligible applicants until 30 June 2024 or until all funding has been allocated.

How to apply

To begin your application, contact the manufacturing hub in your region for a preliminary discussion regarding your project.

If after preliminary discussions you wish to apply, your manufacturing hub will provide you access to the online application portal.

Only online applications will be accepted.

Note: Irrespective of geographical location, applicants for the MHGP can only have one active application or funding agreement at a time. If you have a current active funding agreement, you must complete this agreement before submitting your next application.
